How to request account deletion

Fill in the deletion request form on this page with your full name and the email address registered on your account, choose what you would like us to delete, and submit it. You do not need the app installed to make the request.

Existing customers can also log in to the client area at https://slot.vpsandserver.com/clientarea.php and open a support ticket with the subject "Account deletion request" from https://slot.vpsandserver.com/submitticket.php. Either route reaches the same team.

What happens after you submit the request

We first confirm that the request came from the account holder by writing to the registered email address. Please reply to that message so we can proceed; requests we cannot verify are not actioned, to protect your account from someone else deleting it.

Before deletion, any active services on the account (VPS, dedicated servers, hosting, domains) must be cancelled or transferred. Deleting an account ends those services and the data stored on them, so take backups of anything you want to keep and move domains you want to keep to another registrar first.

Data that is deleted and data we may keep

When your account is deleted we remove your profile and contact details, login credentials, app sign-in data, saved preferences and marketing preferences, along with the servers and hosting data of cancelled services.

Some records may be kept where the law requires it, for example invoices and payment records needed for tax and accounting obligations, and information needed to prevent fraud or abuse. Such records are kept only for as long as the applicable law requires and are then removed. See our privacy policy for more detail.
